Payments
Payment can be made online via our secure website (SSL encryption). Cards accepted are Visa and Mastercard. Other payment methods are PayPal, Direct Deposit (details will be supplied upon confirmation of order) or email us/post us your order along with a cheque or money order. If the credit card cannot be verified as belonging to the person placing the order, the order will not be processed.

Please note, if your purchase exceeds a clearly specified limit per customer or is contrary to the terms laid out in our website, we will credit your credit card or PayPal account deducting any charges incurred by us with a minimum of $5 deduction per transaction.
Pricing & Availability
Blessed Earth lets you hold items in your shopping cart to purchase later at a later date, but we cannot guarantee that the item will still be available, or that the price of the item will not change at the "point of ordering".
We often have customers complaining when an article they just purchased is further reduced on the website.
We reserve the right to vary prices according to our supply situation or any one of a number of reasons.
Sometimes they go up; sometimes they go down. Always they represent excellent value.
We can’t very well go to our customers and say: “Unfortunately we had to increase the price of the article you purchased soon after you purchased it, so we need to pay us more money for it.”
There is no reason for the reverse to be true either.
The exception to the rule would be if we give you a quotation, say, for a bulk mattress purchase. If the price drops and the offer is still open (you normally have 48 hours to accept a bulk quote) you would be quite entitled to ask us to adjust the quote.
On the other hand, we would not increase the quote while ever it is still open.
You are always welcome to ask for consideration if the price drops after purchase but please understand the philosophy with which we operate and please don’t be offended if we refuse.
Security
We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology, which ensures that none of the information on your order can be read while it is in transit. All credit cards are processed in real time through a secure Australian Payment Gateway.
Returns Policy
As a general rule, Blessed Earth offers a money-back guarantee on it’s products if they don’t meet the description given them on the website. You can simply return the items within 7 days and we will issue a credit or a refund, subject to the conditions outlined below.
If a product is merely found to be unsuitable through no fault of the website, we will issue you with a store credit deducting any freight charges.
We cannot resell washed items, so please check that the item meets the description, including sizing, before washing. In the case of wool mattresses and bedding, please be sure that you are happy with your purchase before you use the bedding. Once the bedding has been used it cannot be resold by us. Credits or refunds will only be issued in the event of manufacturing faults that could not have been noticed when the mattress was received.
Please choose wisely. We rely on you to be fully aware of what you are purchasing, as returns usually waste time and/or money for both the purchaser and the vendor.
Delivery
Your goods will be sent by Australia Post. If the value of your goods is over $150, we will register them and they will be trackable.
If the value is under $150, unless you specifically request and pay for the cost of registration, we won't be held responsible if the goods are lost in the Post.
The reason for putting this in place is simple. A customer can claim they didn't receive a parcel and we have no way of proving otherwise. This happens very rarely and if it does, it will be enough that we can demostrate that your parcel was picked up by Australia Post and that their records show it has been delivered.
Same with damaged goods. If there is any damage, the matter should be taken up with your local post office and you will need to claim directly from Australia Post
Laybyes
In the case of mattresses we often accept laybyes, in order to help a customer pay for the purchase. A 20% deposit is required.
In the event of cancellation we reserve the right to keep 10% of the value of the purchase before freight as a termination fee to cover administrative costs. Any payments over the 10% amount will be refunded after deducting the value of any goods sent.
If you do wish to make a laybye, please understand that there are costs involved. It is not like paying money into an account to be withdrawn at any time.
Refund Conditions:
*** Refunds will be made in the same currency/method in which the purchase was made.
*** Refunds do not include the initial postage (unless the item was faulty or we made a mistake).
*** Returns must be made within 7 days of purchase.
*** If a mattress is found to be unsuitable for any reason, it may be returned at the purchaser’s expense to our factory or sales outlet, whichever is nearer, for a partial refund. The mattress must be returned unused in “as new” condition. The purchaser must notify us of the wish to return the mattress on the same day the mattress arrives.
*** All returns must be in original 'as new' condition with tags attached where applicable.
*** Blessed Earth cannot accept returns which have been worn or washed, or are stained or odorous, unless the item is faulty.
*** If a purchased product has been discounted by 30% or more, we will issue a credit, not a refund.
*** Please call us on 07 5429 6811 before returning any products.
***In the case of mattress orders, if an order is cancelled prior to delivery, we will credit 20% of the payment value and refund the balance.
Please Note: Blessed Earth's exchange policy does not include briefs. When trying on garments, please make sure you are not wearing any scent from soap or perfume. Blessed Earth cannot exchange items which have been washed or worn. Used bedding items cannot be exchanged.
Please call or email us before returning any items. We will not refund for items returned unless prior permission has been given. If you are eligible, we may request that you return the goods packed flat if they would then qualify as a large letter.
Store Credit: Vouchers given as 10% of on-line purchases are valid for 30 days. At that time they become a 5% credit for a further 60 days. At the end of 90 days from the date of purchase they are invalid.
